Magazine of the Committee of 100 that was a British anti-war group. It was set up in 1960 with a hundred public signatories by Bertrand Russell, Ralph Schoenman,[1] Michael Scott, and others. Its supporters used mass nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience to achieve their aims.
Content: The magzine was first called National Bulletin Direct Action and later (Direct Action) Resistance (1963 -1965). Offered are the following 25 issues:
- (1963) vol. 1 no. 9, 12, 13, ? - Different names; Different numbering
- (1964) vol. 2 no. 1, 2 (page loose), 3, 4 (cover partly loose), 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
- (1965) vol. 3 no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 (signature at the cover in pen), 10, 11 (pen scribble)
Condition: Most issues have 2 punch holes, as few 4 and a few none. Further the for their age usual wear and creases. Overall condition: Good.
