Born in 1968 in Paris to a Ni oise family, he initially trained as a pattern maker with his father in the family business. Feeling limited in his personal creative endeavors, he discovered a true passion for art and began studying at Villa Thiol and the Louvre School in evening classes. Naturally, art became a profound and sensitive means of expression for St phane Cipre, like a revelation. Extremely creative, St phane expresses his personal struggles, both as a child and an adult, through an artistic production that is sincere and poetic. His sensitive analyses of society allow the public to delve into the heart of contemporary art issues, transforming St phane into a philosopher through imagery. Each artwork tells a story, ranging from the disappointment of school days to the realization of globalization and a mass culture that divides our societies. Cipre's work freezes philosophical questions and inscribes our existences onto images. His meticulous and multidisciplinary work, stemming from his initial training, gives him limitless creativity and makes him a unique artist. His artworks are revelations, where words and their meanings merge into a single image. St phane combines these three elements to make them inseparable and creates a true response to what he calls "art-commodity."
