Father Tuck's "Days in Fairyland", painting book complete with original paints (no. 4047) London - Paris - Berlin - New York - Montreal, Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd., [1914], 27,5 x 12,5 cm, 16 pp., printed paper cover, single stapled signature, including six solid watercolour paint colours. The cover is somewhat smudged and there is a waterstain on the inside of the front cover, but there are no damages and only one colour plate has been (partly) coloured (in pencil), the other three plates are not coloured. Next to each colour plate, there is the same illustration printed in full colour as an example for what colours to use. The beautiful illustrations are by Mabel Lucie Attwell (1879-1964), who has illustrated very many children's books, including "Peter Pan and Wendy" by J.M. Barrie. This copy has a pasted in admission form for a painting competition organised by the publisher. This form is dated to 1914. l Father Tuck's patent "Paint Box" series
