"Kucha Statue" focuses on the story of the Kizil Grottoes in Xinjiang. The Kizil Grottoes, together with the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, the Datong Yungang Grottoes, and the Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, are also known as the Four Great Grottoes in China. It is two hundred years earlier than the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and has been around for two thousand years.
