Like its predecessors by Agrawal and Chitkara, this book lists, for each remedy, all the rubrics containing that remedy. Unique (one remedy) and common (more than one remedy) rubrics are indicated. But this book goes well beyond the earlier works in several ways: ?it is much bigger ?it shows the total number of remedies in the rubric, ?it shows the names of other important remedies with their degree in each rubric, ?it gives a reference to the author of each rubric and remedy addition, ?rubrics where the remedy is with others in the highest degree are indicated (by one dot) as are rubrics where the remedy is alone in the highest degree (two dots). The resulting rubric oriented materia medica is just enough like a repertory to refresh your memory about the interesting comparisons and differences among remedies.
