Uncharted Skies is the result of over ten years work by a number of men determined to capture the essence of Canada's pioneer bush flying years while those who experienced that heady era first-hand were still alive. While many are to be thanked and congratulated, it is not an overstatement to say that, in the end, without the yeoman efforts of Stan McMillan and Mike Finland (both featured in this book), Uncharted Skies would never have been published. Mr. McMillan lives in Edmonton.
Mr. Finland passed away shortly before Uncharted Skies was published.
